George moved from Greece in 2002 to study in Newcastle Upon Tyne. After successfully completing a Degree course and qualifying as some sort of chemist George was due to return back to his home Island of Lesbos (or something like that), to join the Greek army, but he really didn’t fancy it.
Fortunately for George it turned out that he has quite the grasp of the English language, and also the fine art of comedy, including his witty observations on dating Geordie lasses and helpful translations of everyday Geordie phrases.
